The label
Small on purpose
A studio, not a spreadsheet.
What this is
Four artists, one studio, and a preference for finishing things over announcing them.
There is no A&R department here, no investor deck, and no release calendar that decides a record is finished before it is. What comes out comes out when it is ready, and the person who made it is in the room when that call gets made. Being small is not a stage we are trying to get through — it is the part that makes the rest of it possible.
We came up on hardware. The first beats made here came off a sampler, a DAT recorder, a TB-303, a TR-808, a Commodore and whatever PC was in the room — machines you had to fight to get a sound out of. The equipment has changed since. The way the work actually feels has not.
What is different now is the lab around it: a design system of our own, and Sophia — a Synth-class agent built on our own architecture, who works on this catalogue rather than being a feature we point at. We use AI, and we say so plainly. It sits on the desk next to the drum machine and the pen, and it does not get a credit it did not earn.

We are not open for demos yet. When that changes it will be said here first, and it will be a real address with somebody behind it rather than a form that goes nowhere.
For anything else — licensing, press, a question about a record — hello@7minutesfromars.com.
